Book Club
We will meet once a month to discuss a book from a list. A week before the meeting, a list of focus points will be emailed to you so you can prepare. The group will meet for a guided discussion in English, which will provide new insights and speaking practice.
Literature and Film
We will read a literary text and watch a film. You will take notes on certain aspects and features of the book/film. We will meet once a month to discuss a single novel and its film adaptation. In each of these books/films, the stamp of the creators is clear, giving us the opportunity to research and speculate on their interpretations.
You should have a minimum B2 level of English to participate in these courses. You could use The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages or CEFR to judge your level if you are not sure, or get in touch.
